Company History

Best Turf West was established in the fall of 1998 by Norman Davis, President and owner. It began by representing an innovative product, the PlanetAir aerator; a high quality, durable product that is changing the cultural practices of non-disruptive frequent aerating of putting surfaces and fairways. Offering sales and aeration services, the company grew despite only offering one product. This success was attributed to the commitment to only carry products of the highest quality. In 2004 the company product portfolio expanded to offer top-dressers manufactured by Pequea Machine, of New Holland, Pennsylvania.

In February 2006, Best Turf West was chosen to be the distributor/dealer for Baroness USA, a line of turf equipment from Japan. Baroness was a perfect fit because it has one of the highest quality products available in the turf industry.

In February 2010 Best Turf West investigated the Yamaha Turf Vehicle line up and was so impressed with the quality of the offerings they applied for a dealership. In February 2011 they were awarded a Yamaha Golf Car Dealership. Again a perfect fit.
